About the Colorado River Walkers

The Colorado River Walkers, AVA-077, TX-024, were founded in 1981 in Austin, Texas.
The club sponsors Volkssport events in and around Central Texas.

The Colorado River Walkers meet on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 PM
to socialize and conduct club business.  We are currently conducting our meetings at
the Elks Lodge, 700 Dawson Road.

Dawson is off of Barton Springs Road between South Lamar Boulevard and South First Street.
The lodge is two blocks south of the light at Barton Springs Road and Dawson
(there is a First Stop convenience store near that light), and on the right (west) side of Dawson.

Club dues are $10.00 per year or $100 for a life-time membership.
Included in the dues is a subscription to the club’s monthly newsletter Ripples
that contains information on upcoming events around the state, and national,
state and local volkssporting activities.  All are welcome to join.
