Cannon Ranch, Dripping Springs Walk, Dripping Springs, Texas - Saturday and Sunday, September 6 & 7, 2008

Trail will be on rough surfaces, in pastures, ranch roads, and woods. Walk route is 10 Km and the Trail Rating is 2+. A shorter route will be available for those individuals who feel they cannot complete a full 10K walk. The trail is not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Event will start between 8:00 am and 11:00 noon. All participants must be off the trails by 2:00 pm. Boots, hat and walking stick is recommended.

The Pound House Museum is adjacent to the start/finish and is open every Saturday from Noon to 6:00pm. The Pound house was the home of one of Dripping Springs pioneer families and has been restored back to it early state as much as possible. Each year the museum sponsors a Fall Festival, September 20-21, 2007. Festival weekend will include music, games, food, demonstrations, and fun for all.
