Historical/Capitol Walk, YR068: A downtown walk including the State Capitol Complex (going through the Capitol Building when open), the LBJ Presidential Library and Museum, the University of Texas as Austin campus, and several historical buildings in downtown Austin. This is an 11K route. Rated 1+ due to small hills and stairs. Wheelchairs will have to go several blocks out of the way to bypass stairs at LBJ Library.

Lady Bird Lake Walk, YR069: Follow the Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail (part paved, part granite gravel) along the banks of scenic downtown Lady Bird Lake. Lady Bird Lake is part of the Colorado River (No not the one in Arizona, this is Texas’ own Colorado River.), after which the club is named. This is a 10K/11K route. Near the end you have the choice of finishing the 10K route or taking an alternative route to the finish for a total of 11K. Rated 1, suitable for strollers. Wheelchairs may encounter ruts in gravel path.

Fairview Park/Travis Heights Walk, Y1672 (New in 2004!):  This 10K walk is rated 2 due to steep hills.  Wheelchairs and strollers are welcomed but may have difficulty with hills.  Central to this walk are neighborhoods dating back to the 1880's.  You will pass a unique blend of elegant Victorian mansions, beautifully restored cottages, quaint bungalows and recently built homes of striking design.  The walk finishes with a walk up South Congress passing an interesting array of restaurants, retail shops and art galleries.  This area is an Austin original.
